Edge Crush Prima

The edge of the boxes should be strong enough to withstand the compression loads. Thus, it is important for box manufacturers to conduct edge crush tests on the materials. To make it easy for the packaging manufacturers to test the edge-wise compression strength of paper and its related products, we at Presto have designed an advanced lab testing instrument known as the edge crush-Prima model.

This prima model comes with a microprocessor-based high-speed controller that will provide highly accurate testing results to the users. Besides this, the edge crush tester prima model has been provided with a USB option available (A pen drive is not a part of the supply). By conducting edge crush tests on the materials it will be easy for the paper product manufacturers to deliver accurate items to the customers.

With the help of this lab testing instrument, one can easily perform three quality tests on the materials like a flat crush, ring crush, and edge crush test on the materials. The equipment is designed with a stable and practical mechanical structure with uniform movement over 90° alignment. The equipment is installed with a thermal printer which can instantly print the test result without the hassle of cartridge refill.
